Doodhi Raita Recipe with Ingredients and Method
| INGREDIENTS |
| 1 cup grated doodhi (bottlegourd)
2 cups fresh curds 1/2 cup milk 1 tsp cumin powder 3/4 tsp red chilli powder Salt to taste 1 tsp ground sugar 1/2 tsp each cumin and mustard seeds 1/2 tbsp coriander chopped finely |
| METHOD |
| Boil grated doodhi in a little water till soft.
1. Drain, keep aside cool. 2. Crush the seeds together coarsely with stone or pestle. 3. Beat curds and milk together till smooth. 4. Add all ingredients including gourd. 5. Mix well and chill for an hour before serving. |
